P.S. What We’re Doing Here

Slow living, intentional living, trad-wifing?

There will always be buzz words. There will always be trends. And there are always people telling other people how they should live.

In a previous life (aka my Boss Babe era) I was one of those people. I had good intentions— as everyone does. I had developed a philosophy and style of marketing that I really truly believed in, and I wanted with all my heart to help small businesses embrace an approach to marketing (read: my approach) that would not only help them succeed in business, but also find a voice, feel free to share that voice, and make a meaningful, positive difference in the world.

I still want all of those things. But be it age or perhaps the effect that homesteading and the startup-slash-corporate world have had on me, my desire to influence people has transformed into something else.

Because, dear Desk to Dirt reader, I don’t believe that I’m in any position to tell you how to live.

I only know what I have experienced, and what I’ve learned from doing things like, say, reading the 400-page Baker Creek catalog cover to cover multiple times each year.

🫣

And my hope is that these lessons learned will help you live your life as slowly, intentionally, traditionally or by-the-seat-of your-pants-ly as you want to live.

xo,

Paige
